Installing a (PV) Solar Energy System
INTI Energy Solutions offers customers a range of services to make the
transition to clean, renewable energy systems and reduce their carbon
footprint. The key to installing a solar energy system is the successful
completion of five steps, which INTI Energy is certified to help you with.

1.Site Evaluation

2.Energy Usage Analysis

3.Size / Cost Assessment

4.Applying for Rebates / Incentives

5.Installation

Site Evaluation

An early and thorough site evaluation is key to building a well designed system with optimal energy production. A thorough site evaluation will consider factors such as longitude, latitude and sun paths, as well as, shading from trees, buildings and other obstructions. A site evaluation also gives our designers a chance to interact with the client personally to discuss any aesthetic issues. These factors, and others, lead to the selection of the best location for your solar system.

Energy Usage Analysis & Size / Cost Assessment

A comprehensive energy audit coupled with a detailed review of your energy usage will take care of the second and thirds steps and help determine the correct size and cost of your solar system. An improper review of your energy usage can lead to poor estimates about the size and capacity of your system. An undersized solar array won’t produce power efficiently and can lead to a breakdown of the entire electrical system. An oversized system will unnecessarily increase initial costs and can cause customers to reject this attractive power source.

Applying for Rebates/Incentives

INTI Energy is a registered PV (Photovoltaic) Solar installer with the California Energy Commission and as such, our administrative team is up to date with the most current financing options for installing renewable systems – that includes a number of different state and federal rebates, as well as, solar power purchase agreements, for large energy users who qualify.

Once we’ve conducted your site evaluation, completed your energy audit, analyzed your energy usage and determined the proper size of your system, INTI's program administrators will help you complete the necessary forms to qualify for and obtain state incentives and federal rebates for the installation of your renewable system

Installation

Typically, it’ll take our solar installers 3-4 days to complete the installation. Once the panels are on site, we’ll hook the system up to a separate meter that measures the energy output of the array and contact your local utility to connect the system to the grid. When your system is connected to the grid, any electricity you produce in excess of your consumption will be sent back to the grid and credited to your account.
